| Tasks: | As one of the world’s leading speciality and commodity chemicals sales and distribution companies, our client serves some 250,000 customers from all industries across the spectrum, from pharmaceutical and food right through to coatings and chemicals manufacturing. The company operates throughout North America, Europe and China and employees some 7,500 employees (2,300 of which are in Europe). Our client offers international work experience for third-level students wishing to get a head start on the career ladder. The job requires the student to perform market research in his/her native language. This entails making international phone calls to prospective clients and gathering customer information about their use of chemicals. After the project finished, a report needs to be established that indicates the major outcomes of the market research. | ||
