Introduction to InterUM

InterUM

InterUM BV was launched in 1998 being the secondment agency from Maastricht University. Faculties and research departments from MU can post their requests at InterUM Studentjobs concerning temporary employment from student assistants, student tutors, administrative and supporting personnel and invigilators.
From 2008 onwards, companies and organizations in the Southern Limburg region are approached under the umbrella of InterUM Young Professionals. The students involved wish to get acquainted with and gain experience in their future discipline, and are thus looking for knowledge-intensive jobs which they can undertake alongside their studies. They are highly motivated and able to contribute to the workplace in line with the latest academic developments in the field.

These students are part of a team and working on different projects, conduct telephone calls with companies from their home countries and write a report on this.

InterUM is able to introduce me to international, motivated students who can work a few hours per week at Univar. These students come from Poland, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic among others. It is also possible to hire students from outside the EU, because InterUM can arrange work permits for them. The communication and collaboration with InterUM always runs fluently."
