Student Assistant ERCIC
We are looking for
a hard-working student to assist the secretary of the ethics review committee of the inner city faculties (ERCIC).

You will provide support with (administrative) task regarding ethical approval of research. Among others, this will be receiving applications and confirming receipt and preparing commission meetings.

The ideal candidate has great interest in research, ethics and/or privacy law.

This position will initially be for a year, with around 8 hours of work per week. Salary will be scaled in scale 6 of the collective labour agreement of Dutch Universities, based on your year of study.

Tasks
- Overseeing the ERCIC inbox;
- Accepting and organising applications;
- Sending confirmations of receipt;
- Ensuring the completeness of the applications;
- Sharing decisions and approvals, and processing revisions;
- Preparing meetings and taking minutes;
- Maintaining the administration of applications (e.g. in Excel); and
- If necessary, provide support for internal projects.
Requirements
- You have studied at UM for at least a year, and ideally are available for more than a year;
- Ideally, you study at FASoS, UCM, MSP, SBE, FSE, or LAW;
- You are pro-active;
- You are detail oriented;
- You are aware of the responsibilities regarding confidentiality and data management;
- You are able to work autonomously and are able to manage your time efficiently so as to keep the processes flowing;
- You have good communication skills;
- You have administrative or secretarial experience, and preferably some experience in customer service; and
- You have excellent control of the English language.

Student Voice Consultant
We are looking for
an enthusiastic student to help with the development of a game designed by UM.

This "Student Journey Game" was developed in the last year to collect students' experiences in advising and student guidance (such as study advising, mentoring, and student psychologists) and use these to allow UM to better guide them during their studies.

As a part of the project team you will guide groups of students in playing this game. You will collect input of various student populations and actively contribute to the further development of the game. Your experiences, input, and observations will effectively contribute to the project and the guidance of students at UM.

The position will initially be for a year, with 8 hours of work per week. The salary will be scaled in scale 4.0 of the collective labour agreement of Dutch Universities and will be based on your age.

We are looking for
a motivated student to support the "Professional Development" domain of EDLAB.

EDLAB (Maastricht University Centre for Teaching & Learning) unites the Maastricht University Teaching & Learning community, aiming to enhance education practices and enrich the student learning experience. Their mission revolves around three pillars: expertise, support, and community.

As a student assistant within PD you will collect and deliver examples of good teaching and learning practice within Maastricht University in an online environment. You will also support the creation and spreading of trainings, where you will present the students' viewpoint.

This position will initially be for a year, for around 8 hours per week. Your salary will be based on scale 6 of the labour agreement of Dutch Universities, and will be determined by your year of study.

Student Employee Logistics
We are looking for
an employee who wants to provide logistical support at one of the locations of Maastricht University. This logistics team is responsible for the internal parcel service.

You will be trained for a number of days before the work takes place. This involves a total of 20 hours per week, every morning between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The position will be up until October 11, 2024.

The position is classified in scale 4.0 of the collective labor agreement of Dutch Universities.

call workers to act as Emergency Response Officers for evening lectures and events during the academic year 2023-2024. You are visible at the location and able to respond in case of an emergency. You are available for several shifts per week.
