You like to arrange everything down to the last detail.
You will attend, initiate, produce, and coordinate events and publications to promote the work of the councils, in order to create more awareness for the University, Faculty and Service Councils. Especially in the run up to the elections in May 2026. These councils discuss current developments and new policies, advise on and approve proposals, and take their own initiatives. These councils, democratically elected each spring, play an important role in the university's governance, but their role is not well understood by many students and staff, and elections turnout is generally low. That is why the councils are looking for a student assistant to coordinate and support the communication of the various councils.
You will do this in close cooperation with the Marketing & Communications and Election Office. You do not have to do this by yourself, rather your role is to ensure that different people contribute to the final product, and projects remain on track.
The ideal candidate has a flair for communication , who can learn about the work of the councils and present that to the community in an attractive way . You must be able to initiate and carry projects through, by working together with the colleagues from the Marketing & Communications department. You should be able to co-create workflows and be pro-active in taking initiative. The work is flexible, and you will have a great deal of freedom to organize it around your schedule.
The position will involve 8 hours per week during the academic year 2025-2026. Your salary is between €17.61 and €18.10 gross per hour (based on your year of study). On top of that, you will receive 8% holiday pay and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
